Duane joined Spectrum in 1991 seasonally and commenced full time as a Supervisor in 1995. In 2000, Duane moved into a Project Management role assisting clients in multiple forestry disciplines throughout Northern BC and the Fraser Valley. By 2006, Duane had advanced to be Spectrum's General Manager, and then its President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), overseeing British Columbia and Alberta's most prominent Integrated Vegetation Management firm.
As CEO, Duane acts as a spokesperson and communication hub, implements policy from Spectrum's Board, and directs operations and support services to effectively utilize human and physical resources. Duane brings considerable skills in corporate strategy, finance, governance, and operations management to Spectrum.
Duane holds a CPA, CMA designation, and has obtained an MBA from the University of Northern British Columbia and a BSc from the University of Saskatchewan.
Duane lives in Prince George with his wife and two children.
