Eric Nijboer, BIT
Eric has been with Spectrum since 2007 and has focused his efforts on Invasive Plant Management throughout Northern BC. Eric has graduated from field worker to Project Manager during this period.
Eric has experience in many aspects of the company, including mosquito control, industrial vegetation management, silviculture, reforestation, stand tending, mountain pine beetle control and reclamation work. Eric also sits as an alternate board director (Forestry perspective) on the Invasive Species Council of British Columbia (ISCBC).
Eric has been accepted by the College of Applied Biology as a Biologist in Training (BIT) and holds a BSc in Biology and Chemistry from Brock University with a focus on Plant Biotechnology. He also holds numerous other industry related certifications.
Eric enjoys spending his free time trying his luck fishing at local lakes and exploring what beautiful Northern British Columbia has to offer.
