Tom Cooper
Reforestation – Supervisor
I’m passionate about learning, the outdoors, and generally anything that challenges me to grow. I am at home in the mountains and I’m always looking forward to the next adventure. I’ve recently completed a degree in physics and computer science. Tree planting is an important part of my life; I love the community, the challenge of the work, and continually learning new skills. My experiences planting are some of my fondest memories and supervising has been a wonderful opportunity to facilitate the same experience for others.

What Planters Can Expect from Me
A camp that prioritizes safety, good communication, and a management team that will support you to hit your planting goals. My commitment is to ensure a cohesive, motivating, and healthy workplace for everyone. I will always advocate for planters and strive to improve upon industry standards. Most importantly, be valued beyond your title as a tree planter.
What I Expect from the Planters
I expect everyone to participate in the health and safety culture of the camp which ranges from simply looking out for your friends, participating in safety drills, and reporting unsafe activities. We have a very hardworking and caring management team but it takes everyone’s contribution for our camp to be the best place to spend your summer. Along with your shovel and bags, bring your hobbies, skills, and passion projects to camp!
