Reforestation – Crew Leader
I grew up with a passion for sports, playing football, basketball, and track and field. This led me to the University of Winnipeg where I studied kinesiology for four years to get my Bachelor of Science degree. During my degree, I took a gap year and traveled to Thailand where I taught English and practiced Muay Thai. Upon returning home to Winnipeg, I took up boxing and kickboxing. When I finished my degree, a friend told me I would enjoy tree planting, and that is what brought me to Spectrum.

What Planters Can Expect From Me
As a crew leader, I strive to be prepared, organized and efficient while fostering a positive crew mentality.
I genuinely enjoy tree planting and everything that comes with it. Whether it is the challenge of working a difficult piece, or the excitement of throwing your shovel into a new piece, having it slide into the ground effortlessly and knowing it’s going to be a great day.
What I Expect From Planters
For me, the most important thing that I expect from my planters is a positive attitude, followed by showing up ready to work and putting in the effort to do the best that they can each day.
