Partnerships
We actively sponsor activities that benefit our employees and add value to the communities where we live and work. Through monetary and in-kind donations such as labour and education, we’re able to support various causes and organizations that align with our values. Over the years, as our company has grown, so has our community outreach and partnerships. We take pride in building and developing relationships with our employees, clients and communities.
Indigenous Relations
Governments and Industry are committed to Indigenous reconciliation. These commitments are made real through the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP); The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada and associated Calls to Action; The BC Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People’s Act (DRIPA – BC Government) – to name a few. More specifically, the commitments made through legislation include collaboration, engagement and education with our Indigenous partners as a pathway to meaningful reconciliation.
Many companies, ours included, have adopted aspects of Reconciliation in our day-to-day business.
The difference that sets us apart, is that actions speak louder than words, and Spectrum Resource Group actively works towards fostering business relationships that deliver meaningful and rewarding opportunities to our current and future Indigenous partners, their communities, and citizens with whom we interact with as part of our day-to-day operations.
We are pro-active at developing new opportunities and relationships, and we will continue to foster the partnerships that we’ve built and continue furthering socio-economic reconciliation.
The socio-economic success of Indigenous communities and peoples is what true reconciliation means to us. If our partners are successful, then so too are we. This is our commitment to Indigenous socio-economic reconciliation.
