Career Path

Q: Describe your career path. How did you get into what you do now?
A: I started off as an Invasive Plant Managment Technician (summer position) to gain field experience and learn more about the industry. I ended up loving the position and becoming very passionate about Invasive Species and have been with Spectrum ever since!

Goals & Passions

Q: What are your goals for you and your team?
A: My goals within my team are to ensure that everyone feels valued and respected within the group and company, that everyone gets home safe and looks forward to coming to work. While work is work, we should all find ways to have a little fun and enjoy our time in the field. Additionally, I would like to remain challenged in my position be able to take on new projects & responsibilities.

Q: What are you most passionate about professionally? What excites you most about your work?
A: My favourite aspect of my position is definitely the people — I love  training, getting to know everyone and being able to mentor them throughout the season and help them to be successful within the position.

Hobbies & Interests

Q: What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
A: When I’m not at work I enjoy getting outdoors (beaches, hikes, swimming, adventuring, etc.), working out, cooking and makeup artistry.

Q: What’s something about you that not many people know?
A: That I do a bit of make up artistry for fun and am working toward having it as a part time business.

Q: Who was the most influential person in your life?
A: My mom is definitely the most influential person in my life — it’s her spirit and motivation that have made me so driven in my career and the rest of my life.

A: All problems are solvable.
