Career Path
Q: Describe your career path. How did you get into what you do now?
A: I was lucky to be a part of one of the original Alberta crews way back in 2007. I was able to join the reforestation team a tree planter and then a crew leader for eight seasons before becoming a supervisor. I always loved tree planting, and never imagined I would one day supervise a camp of my own. Having help from other amazing Spectrum supervisors paved the way for me to become a successful supervisor and help others branch out to try and meet their full potential.
Goals & Passions
Q: What are your goals for you and your team?
A: Our main goal is to always help everyone make the most of each opportunity. The Alberta team has always been my family and I
would love to see it continue to grow and prosper.
Q: What are you most passionate about professionally? What excites you most about your work?
A: I love planting trees and seeing others reach their full potential as planters and crew leaders. There is nothing better than finding out someone achieved their own personal goals or hit as milestone they were trying to reach.
Hobbies & Interests
Q: What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
A: I enjoy reading, watching movies with friends, hiking, canoe trips and hockey.
Q: What’s something about you that not many people know?
A: I was a former Subway sandwich artist.
Q: Who was the most influential person in your life?
A: I have been fortunate to have a lot of positive influences in my life. I would have to say the most influential person in my life would be a tie between my mother and father. Love you guys!
Q: What is a value statement or quote you live by?
A: Just as the trees grow stronger by day, so too do those who plant them.
