Career Path
Q: Describe your career path. How did you get into what you do now?
A: My first job with Spectrum Resource Group was in transmission line herbicide application and I did that for four seasons while in university. After those four seasons, I switched to winter work where I worked on several fire mitigation projects and some mountain pine beetle control. I still continue with the fire mitigation projects in the winter but I also manage invasive plant management contracts in the summer.
Goals & Passions
Q: What are your goals for you and your team?
A: Everyone gets home safe. Professionalism. Also, having the cleanest, tidiest trucks.
Q: What are you most passionate about professionally? What excites you most about your work?
A: The diversity of work. I get to engage in several types of contracts with many different people.
Hobbies & Interests
Q: What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
A: I like to keep busy. When I get time off I enjoy woodworking, camping, and board games.
Q: What’s something about you that not many people know?
A: I dislike cucumbers.
